Okay, if you are visiting this blog and you're name is not Mike, Sarah, or Heather...

Can you please leave a comment to this post? Just say hi or something. Or leave your name, doesn't matter.

Just want to see how many people are visiting this blog and how often.

Thanks!

okay, my name is Heather, but I'm posting for TORI, who told me today that she saw this and tried to post, but decided she didn't want to go through the whole comment leaving process due to time.

So TORI visits the blog too. ;) hehe.

Hi Oxfam @ Western folks,

My name's Ashley Raeside and I used to go to UWO but now I'm doing grad work at Windsor. In Windsor I'm the group leader for the local RESULTS chapter (www.resultscanada.ca). We advocate and lobby for better funding/policies related to global poverty and foreign aid.

I'm pretty familiar with Oxfam and know this sort of thing is right up your alley, especially since both our groups are on the MPH steering committee.

Long story short, I'm helping Vik Khullar start a RESULTS UWO group and we're having an initial "Intro to RESULTS @ UWO" meeting that I think you'll definitely want to come to -- at least the person in your club who coordinates anti-poverty related advocacy.

It's Tuesday Nov. 28 -- 6-7pm -- Sommerville 3315.

Some folks from UWO EWB are also coming. I'll try emailing this message to your general club email too.

Thanks for tolerating my rambling post! Hope to talk to someone soon.
